In terms of marketing my business, one strategy that’s worked well for me is content marketing. Content marketing is the ability to create good, informative content and then share it. This could also be known as blogging.
The term “blog” was born with an unprofessional demeanor and even today most businesses hold off of using the term or function of a blog because they think its unprofessional but to be honest if you don’t have one or utilise it then you’re really letting your business down.
Systems like “wordpress, digg and blogger” are synonymous with blogging but there’s a new format in town called “medium” that’s becoming ever highly popular for both business and personal use.
Whilst some blog sites have a learning curve, the greatness of medium lies in its simplicity. It’s a tool that’s so easy to use and makes any article look great. It doesn’t require you to have a base of followers to be effective and its free to use.
Whether you’re new to content marketing or not, Medium is definitely worth checking out and integrating as a part of your strategy.
