For me Banda is a font that I tend to skip over when designing because it doesn’t shout about itself. That however is why its such a great font.
It’s subtle in style and brilliantly designed to be just that, a quiet and contemporary font until you actually look at it and see how good it really is. It has a friendly character without trying to hard and those little bubbly serifs give it a quirky edge without being weirdly quirky.
It looks great it lowercase and is ideal for a logo design but its sophistication could make it viable for paragraph text as well.

Type Depot, Banda has certainly made me look towards Bulgaria and typography in general in a different light.
