Some would say Adobe Photshop and some Coral Paintshop are valuable graphic design tools. Some would say Adobe Illustrator and Coral Draw are essential graphic design tools. But I’m not talking about software though. I’m talking about the little specific things which make life so much easier for a web designer or graphic designer like me.
1.Ink dropper& Colour picker for graphic design
When I was a lad my first experience of digital graphics was Windows Paint. I figured out what each tool did, except for the ink dropper. I could see what it did but I thought “What exactly is the point?”
Today it’s probably the tool I use the most as a professional graphic designer.
It’s a generic tool which every piece of creative software has and if it doesn’t have it then it should have it.
2. Pen and paperfor Graphic Design
Forget your computer. For complete creative action, the pen and paper always wins hands down. Even if it’s a down and dirty sketch, it just helps to get that idea on paper.
3. The box of tricks for graphic design
Whether it’s a shoddy 1 colour newsletter from a political party or a stunning glossy magazine advert, I have a box full of varied graphic design inspiration
4. The graphic designers graphics tablet
After you get one you won’t draw with a mouse ever again. I can’t imagine how I did it before.
