When I’m web designing I use a mixture of large background photos and icons to produce a nice flowing design down the page but at some point it will just get a little monotonous or too horizontal. At this point its ideal to break up the flow of design with something different altogether; ideally a background pattern image.
As silly as it sounds, creating or finding a repeating background image is not that easy. It needs to have the right relevance, feel and look to mix into the web design so sometimes the task of the repeating background can become a little chore all on its own.
What I’ve found handy is this freebie of 100 Repeating Vector Patterns From Freepik.
The great thing is that the backgrounds come in all different styles allowing you to find the right one for your project.
